Common issues & quick checks

Try these steps first if something feels off.

  • Extension not visible: restart the browser and open chrome://extensions or the extensions menu in Edge; ensure “SafeNet Browser Protection” is enabled.
  • No block page: confirm SafeNet Desktop is running, DNS/VPN filtering is active, and the device is correctly mapped under the right profile in the SafeNet Admin portal.
  • Access request not loading: check your internet connection and make sure the browser allows SafeNet to run JavaScript and open new tabs.
  • Wrong profile / rules: verify the device is paired to the correct user and that the domain is blocked or allowed as expected in the Admin UI.
